Nike Zoom MVP Trash Talk - Earth Day

To celebrate Earth Day on April 22, Nike has set to release the Nike Zoom MVP Trash Talk in black/purple and white/orange. The Trash Talk’s respect Earth Day because they use 100% recycled and recyclable materials, including black leather and synthetic leather leftovers, rubber from Nike Grind recycle material, polyester, and used EVA. Even the box uses recycled fiber to give the finishing touch to a certainly respectable shoe. No trash talk here except for that of eco-friendly materials. The black leather upper of the first pair is offset by a purple suede swoosh, and the white leather upper of the second is offset by a white swoosh with an orange outline.

Nike Lebron Zoom Soldier III (3) - New Colors

Lebron James enters the first day of the NBA Playoffs against the Detroit Pistons by breaking out the Playoff Edition of the Nike Zoom Soldier III (3), the latest installment in the Lebron James signature series line. The sneaker is described as the lightest out of the many designed for Lebron and will see even more colorways come later this year. The Zoom Soldier III wil be rolled out in black/white, triple black and white/black/aqua in either of the two styles. Each Zoom Soldier III consists of a combination of leather and mesh, while the first of the two aqua ZSIIIs features patent leather. Keep your eyes peeled for the new Zoom Soldier IIIs.

Nike Air Force 1 Playstation 2 10th Anniversary - Auction For Charity

The second coming of the Playstation 2 Nike Air Force 1 was announced last month, but it was reported that the sneakers will be produced in very limited quantities and given to a select few. For those who missed out on the first drop, this special 10th Anniversary model has been listed online with 100% of the profits going to Jennifer Ann’s Group, a non-profit charity to prevent teen dating violence. The sneakers still feature the black and gradient upper, but this time around the sneakers are given the full patent leather treatment. Air Jordan Jumpman Pro Low - Black / White

With the successful release of the Air Jordan Jumpman Pro earlier in the year, Jordan Brand is set to drop a low top version of the sneaker later this year. The Air Jordan Jumpman Pro Low essentially features the same body as the mid cut version with the exception of the Jumpman logo being placed a little lower on the ankle. This pair yields a black mesh and leather upper accented by a white midsole, white stitching, and a white inner lining. The Air Jordan Jumpman Pro Low - Black/White is expected to release in August, so stay tuned for updates.

Release Reminder: April 18, 2009

Last weekend, Jordan Brand released three new sneakers, and this weekend will also bring a new trio of Air Jordans. On April 18, 2009, Jordan Brand is set to to release their Prom Pack which is essentially made for high school students looking for some fresh kicks to wear to Prom. The Prom Pack consists of two pairs of the Air Jordan I (1) Low which both feature patent leather uppers with thin laces and black midsoles. This weekend, the Air Jordan Dub Zero will also make its return via a new colorway which hosts a white upper with varsity red, cement grey, and black accents. As most can remember, the Dub Zero released only a few years back, and many sneakerheads were a bit surprised when they heard news of its return. As previously mentioned, the Air Jordan I (1) Low - Prom Pack and the Air Jordan Dub Zero - White/Varsity Red-Black-Cement Grey will release on April 18, 2009 for $100 and $160, respectively. Air Jordan Melo M5 - Jordan Brand Classic

Just in time for this years Jordan Brand Classic, this Air Jordan Melo M5 is scheduled to drop tomorrow, Friday April 17th. The M5 is designed with a white base overlaid with applications of red on the side panels, mid sole and sole. Also being found on this special Melo M5 is patent leather toe along with a metallic silver Jumpman. Look for this Melo M5 to hit all three House of Hoops starting tomorrow and catch the Jordan Brand Classic on Saturday airing on ESPN2.

Supra TK Society Releasing Next Month

With the release of Terry Kennedy’s Supra TK Society looming, photos of the upcoming sneakers continue to build up the anticipation. Kennedy stopped by the Supra warehouse recently to re-up on some products including the TK Society in red/white and purple/white. The first of the two TK picked up is the Society composed of a solid red upper and white outersole. Was seen second pair a few weeks back and will be available in similar design, but will sport a purple suede upper. Supra has annouced the TK Society will officially release on May 15th.
